Neither Romania nor the Republic of Moldova are safe from the phenomenon of drug consumption. Young people need to be informed, they need help and they need to know the legal, health and social consequences of drug use. More than 1,500 high school students from Chisinau participated in the information sessions about the risks and consequences of drug use, organized by the Chisinau Rotary Club.

What is really important refers to the fact that, in front of the young people, there came a renowned anti-drug and anti-doping expert, Prof. Dr. Cătălin Țone, the author of the volume "Marijuana, zborul spre iad", who presented everything from the perspective of an excellent connoisseur of the phenomenon. Also present was a former user of prohibited substances, from the Teen Challenge Smart Association, who shared his experience with the children. Undoubtedly, such open dialogues, with the aim of correctly informing children and young people, can have a saving role. The National Anti-Doping Agency supports and promotes such educational and awareness projects among young people, regarding the effects of the consumption of prohibited substances.
