Today, May 21, 2026, representatives of the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD), acting as trainers, conducted an anti-doping information and education seminar for students of the "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
The activity was attended by members of the university's varsity sports teams, representing various sports disciplines such as football, basketball, volleyball, arm wrestling, chess, checkers, badminton, futsal, powerlifting, and athletics.
The seminar addressed topics aimed at promoting clean sport, respecting the principles of sports ethics, the rights and responsibilities of athletes, as well as the importance of complying with anti-doping regulations in high-performance sports.
The event was also attended by Ms. Nicoleta Bodrug and Ms. Svetlana Miron, assistants at the Department of Physical Education within the "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in their capacity as coaches of the university teams.
By organizing this activity, ANAD continues to promote the values of clean sport and to contribute to raising awareness and responsibility among young athletes regarding the prevention of doping in sports.
